Therefore, water is not only an important substance, but also an essential element of the body’s extremely delicate water and electrolyte balance. The AQUARION device produces ionized water as a result of preliminary multi-stage filtration of tap water and then its electrolysis. As a result of these processes, we obtain alkaline and acid water with different pH levels. Most food, some additives and medications alter the body’s pH value to become acidic, i.e. acidify it. Ideally, our body is able to cope with this by using adequate alkaline reserves. However, long-term acidification of the body can cause serious health problems. Alkaline ionized water perfectly alkalizes the body and helps to maintain a proper acid-base balance. The negative charge (OH- ion consisting of one oxygen and one hydrogen atom) dominates in the alkaline water molecules, hence it perfectly binds free radicals deprived of an electron in the body.

Acidic ionized water is great for our skin. Acidic water with level 1-2 can be used for cosmetic purposes, and level 3-4 for cleaning e.g. kitchen worktops, etc.

Acidic ionized water is unfit for consumption because during the ionization process, negatively charged substances (chlorine, nitrogen, nitrate ions, etc.) are deposited on the positive electrode (i.e. acid side). These negative ions are harmful to the body.
The degree of utilization of ionized water in the body is also unique. In traditional water, one cluster consists of 12-18 water molecules, as opposed to ionized water, which has only 6 molecules. Fewer molecules make it much easier for water to enter the cells. The cluster structure of water changes during ionization, which can increase its hydration capacity by up to six times.
